Samsung is popular for its Galaxy range of Android smartphones which come with cutting edge specs and great performance. Its new flagships Samsung Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge (Plus models as well) are leading the most desirable Android smartphones list of 2015. Apart from the dazzling metallic looks and glass finish, TouchWiz UI has also seen a major overhaul. Samsung has freshened the overall look of the UI.
If you don’t know what TouchWiz is? It is a custom ROM that comes pre-loaded on Samsung devices. TouchWiz ROMs are known for their amazing features such as motion detection, gestures and comes heavily themed than most of the ROMs. But Samsung has removed the well-known option from its latest TouchWiz UI. The option to change the settings of the backlight of capacitive buttons which was present in the previous versions is no more in the latest devices from Samsung.
The backlight from the capacitive keys might irritate some users especially when they are operating their phone in the dark. Though the screen brightness on these devices can be dimmed to a great extent by using many 3rd apps but the capacitive buttons behavior can’t be altered normally. Thanks to Dr. Ketan, a well-known developer for Samsung devices, for developing Dr. Ketan Light Settings app to help the Samsung users to overcome this issue and have a better experience. Well Dr. Ketan Light Settings app has got much simpler UI with just four options to control the backlight behavior of the capacitive keys. But this app supports only few Samsung devices.
